Fall - Beginner Class starts Sept. 20th
Don Stoll offers the beginner, as well as the advanced student the opportunity to improve their drawing skills.
Beginner Drawing Class
Day: Monday
Time: 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM
Starting Date: September 20, 2010
Fee: $160
Class sessions are ten consecutive weeks consisting of 25 hours of training.
- Class begins with the basics of drawing; materials, values, light, and composition.
- Based upon students skill and desire, two or more finished still life drawings can be completed in the 10 week session.
- The beginner student usually can advance to the Intermediate level of Portrait & Drawing class after attending the ten week course.
Supplies are not included in class fee.
Supplies needed:
Drawing Board 22" X 26" - Strathmore 400 Series Drawing Pad - Faber-Castell Pencils 6B, B, HB and H - Faber-Castell Eraser Pencil - Kneaded Eraser- Eraser Shield - Dust Brush - ART Tortillons 5/16" - Drawing Crutch (Mull) - Blue Painters Tape 3/4" - Optional: Pencil supply box - Attaché "carry case"
Intermediate Drawing Class - Portrait in Pencil
It is recommended that student has completed the beginner's "101" class before advancing to the Portrait Class.
Class sessions are ten consecutive weeks.

Time: 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM
Fee: $160
Supplies are not included in class fee but can be purchased at the Studio.
- Training in the class cover the drawing the elements of the face. (nose, mouth, ears and eyes)
- Then putting it all together to make maybe your first true portrait
- Based upon students skill and desire, one or more pencil portraits can be completed within the ten week course.
- After completing the intermediate course successfully students can then move onto the Advanced Class which includes Painting your portrait in oil.
Classes held at Stoll's studio.
A maximum of twelve students are accepted for each session.
All fees due in advance, check, cash and all major credit cards are accepted.
Make-up classes are offered on an as needed basis.
